Unlike the conspiracy theorists who think Ron Paul actually won the Iowa Caucus and was cheated, I think he came in third.

I also know that this state election ain't over.

A caucus is not the election. A caucus is where people line up and show their support for a candidate. Whatever votes are taken are not official and not recognized by the state's election board.

It's a straw poll in other words.

As the above story states, the actual real and counted vote has yet to happen. As Paul's supporters likely hung around to get selected as delegates (who cast the real vote), Paul ain't out of this race yet. In the Iowa Caucus, delegates are not required to vote as people did in the caucus.

In other words, the real election ain't happened. The real election may see more Paul supports cast ballots than supporters for the other candidates.

Regardless, the will of the people in Iowa put Paul in third place.

Another thing is clear. A majority of the Iowa Caucus attendees continue to support the idea of erosion of your rights, intrusive and increasingly big government and more idiotic tax dollar spending.
