Personally I feel there is too much of a connection for it not be a coincidence. No, it can't be proved, but if the shoe fits, wear it! Besides, why would an omnipotent God who said all other religions were pagan make the shoe seem to fit so well in the first place if isn't true? Is he trying to trick us? Test us?
